EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Currently working toward a graduate degree in a relevant field, such as international studies, political science, public policy, technology policy, or a related field with an emphasis on sustainability and energy
- Preferred is direct experience with EV charging or energy policy within the government, as well as any relevant nonprofits, trade associations, or public interest groups.
- knowledge and expertise from previous employment and education regarding the legislative and regulatory processes at the federal, state, and local levels.
- Outstanding organizational and project management abilities, with background in successfully overseeing several challenging, cross-functional projects at once

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY
- Assist the policy team by researching legislation, creating briefings, managing intricate, cross-functional projects, and summarizing and analyzing regulatory filings.

- Possibility of creating a capstone project on energy policy or priority charging
- Provide cross-functional feedback to internal teams and offer guidance on the advancement of public policy.
- Work together with outside parties to make public policy priorities more important.
- Opportunities to collaborate on market analysis, state and local strategic engagement, policy and business development, and market research will be presented by this internship with the North American Public Policy & Business Development Team. You will work as a member of a team that develops and implements the company’s legislative and regulatory strategies for energy and electric vehicle charging.
