Qualifications
When pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, Sony Research India offers internships in data science.
Preferred Skill: Understanding of creating dashboards with programs like Streamlit or other comparable tools.
proficiency with both unsupervised and supervised machine learning models.
proficiency with TensorFlow and PyTorch.
familiarity with EC2, Athena, and S3 on AWS.
familiarity with scikit-learn and other deep learning/machine learning frameworks.
understanding of developing deep learning models on large datasets and customizing training for them.
Proficiency with PyTorch is a desirable skill.
prior knowledge of creating deep learning models.
Model Deployment and MLOps.
Function and Accountability
Work together on daily tasks with research scientists and other team members, concentrating on developing dashboards and training, developing, and optimizing ML/DL models.
Use TensorFlow and PyTorch to implement deep learning models.
Use AWS services for effective data storage, querying, and computing, such as S3, Athena, and EC2.
Learn about MLOps procedures, data cleaning methods, and creating dashboards for predictive models.
Time Frame
The six-month paid internship will begin the first week of November 2024 and last for six months.
Monday through Friday, from 9:00 IST to 18:00 IST, are the working hours.
