Objectives Paid Internship
The State Bank of India launched the SBI Paid Internship program, a Rural Fellowship initiative that is funded and run by the SBI Foundation in collaboration with reputable grassroots NGOs. It aims to address the most important issues facing rural India by:
Giving educated Indian youth the chance to make a difference in people’s lives and bring about positive change at the local level in rural India
It is important to supply educated laborers with skill sets that can stimulate rural development to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) engaged in rural development initiatives in India.
encouraging the creation of a platform where graduates of the program can exchange ideas and support rural development in their careers.
Qualifications
Hold the status of an Indian national, an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), or a citizen of Bhutan or Nepal.
Be between the ages of 21 and 32 on the day the program starts, meaning you have to have been born between August 2, 1992, and October 1, 2002.
Before October 1st, 2024, at least a Bachelor’s degree must be finished.

Monetary and additional assistance
Monthly stipend of 16,000 INR to cover living expenses for the course of the program.

The price of the round-trip 3AC ticket from your home to the project site, in addition to any costs related to training program travel.

Procedure for Applications

Phase 1: Enrollment and Virtual Evaluation
Complete the Registration Form to start your online evaluation. You will be required to submit a thorough essay-style response as part of the assessment, in which you will be able to discuss your background, viewpoints, and desire to become a Fellow.
This online test is meant to help you get to know yourself better. Before beginning the assessment, please carefully read the instructions.
Time: It takes about 1.5 hours on average to finish this online test. You can save your assessment process in the middle and come back to complete it at a later time.
Suggested Device: It is advised that you use a laptop or desktop computer to complete this section because it requires time and an essay.
Personal Information: Throughout the assessment process, keep your educational background and work history close at hand.

Essay Questions: One case study and seven brief questions must be answered. We want your answers to be as unique as possible since they will demonstrate your ability and enthusiasm for the Fellowship. Please be aware that plagiarism is not accepted and could lead to your application being denied.

Phase Two: Individual Interview
During the Personal Interview phase, the distinguished panel assesses the candidate’s personal attributes and appropriateness for the position. This phase aims to provide the selection panel with a deeper understanding of the candidate and assist them in making decisions based on criteria other than education and work history.

Benefits Following Fellowship
The SBI Foundation awards the Fellow a certificate of completion and a readjustment allowance of Rs. 60,000 upon successful completion.
Whereabouts
Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Punjab will be the locations of the projects.
